Saint Carlo Acutis loved plenty of ordinary things: computers, video games, friends, and being a kid. But he loved Jesus more. He taught himself computer programming and used those skills to build a website documenting Eucharistic miracles around the world, sharing something he deeply believed: Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist, and being close to Him changes everything.
Carlo’s life reminds us that holiness doesn’t require escaping ordinary life. It means putting first things first. He made time for Mass, prayer, confession, Our Lady, helping others, and especially the Eucharist. In a world constantly fighting for our attention, his life plan is refreshingly simple: stay close to Jesus.
