We find it hard to face, so we fill our days with distractions, chase temporary comforts, and often live as though our time here is unlimited. Yet as Catholics, we can understand something more beautiful and profound: our earthly lives are temporary, and we must use it as an opportunity to love and serve Christ, today and in to forever.

Every day of our life is an opportunity to love, forgive, serve, and grow closer to Christ - and in this, we not only become all who Christ created us to be, but we can continue this love of Him after our earthly deaths.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12

So let us live with eternity in mind and pursue holiness more intentionally.
