In 1931, Christ appeared to Saint Faustina Kowalska — wounded yet radiant — His heart open, with two rays of light flowing from it. One pale, one red. The phrase “Jesus, I trust in You” became the prayer of Divine Mercy, simple enough for every soul, deep enough to steady the world. It is trust spoken through fear, love spoken through repentance, peace spoken through surrender.
